Privacy Policy

Information supplied to us will only be used to notify you of AWAVe Shoes product updates or events, and will not be sold or passed on to any third party. No credit or debit card information will be held on this site, all transactions are made independently through our payment services provider on our behalf, and for your added security.


Sale Of Goods Act 1979

You have rights as a consumer under the Sale of Goods Act 1979. Under this Act, traders must sell goods that are as described, fit for purpose and of satisfactory quality.

The Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000

The Distance Selling Regulations give protection to consumers who shop by phone, mail order, via the Internet or digital TV. The protection includes:

  • The right to receive clear information about goods and services before deciding to buy;
  • Confirmation of this information in writing;
  • A cooling off period of seven working days in which the consumer can withdraw from the contract;
  • Protection from credit card fraud.

Cancelling An Order

Orders paid for, not yet received:
To cancel an order for any reason you must send written notice by post or email stating your desire to do so, this must be within 7 days after the day on which you receive your goods. A member of our Customer Services team will then contact you to validate your identity and confirm your decision to cancel. This does not affect your Statutory Rights. Written notification must be sent to either of the following:-

Please be aware that any orders that have already been dispatched cannot be cancelled until the order arrives with you, see Returns below.


Returns

Unsuitable Items

If the shoes are not as you thought they would be or you do not like them when you get them, you have up to 28 days to return them to us. All we ask is that you send them back in the condition that you received them ie. not worn, used or damaged and in their original box with all branded materials intact including fobs, shoehorns and shoe bags. Please note that in this case you will be responsible for the cost of returning the item if you require a refund however if you choose to exchange the item for a different style or size we will pick up the cost of shipping a replacement.

Damaged / Faulty or Incorrect Goods

All our products are checked prior to dispatch but damage can occur after this, such as in transit. In the unlikely event that your shoes are faulty or damaged when you receive them or if we have sent you the wrong shoes, we will meet the cost for you to post them back to us and we will offer you an exchange or refund on your purchase.

In the unfortunate case of an item that has developed a fault that has not been caused by misuse, please return it to us for inspection. Upon identification of a fault, we will refund any postage charge incurred and send a replacement or issue a full refund


Returning Goods

Pack up the shoes carefully in their original box and a secure outer wrapper, take them to the Post Office and send them back clearly addressed to:

Using the Returns Form that will have been enclosed in the bag when you received your order. You should also get a certificate of posting from the Post Office just in case your parcel goes missing as it is your responsibility until it is received at the Warehouse. In all cases you are responsible for the cost of shipping to us with the exception of incorrect and faulty goods.

Once we receive the returned goods we will either give you an exchange free of charge, if this is what you want, or we will refund the purchase price of the shoes. Please indicate your wishes clearly on the Returns Form. Please note a refund can only be credited to the same credit or debit card that was used for the original purchase.
